Baldor is instructing all our customers that purchased the below item between January 5, 2023 – January 6, 2023, from Baldor to please not use this product and return any unused product in its original box for a full credit. A full credit will only be issued for returned product in its original carton.

Potential for microbial contamination, including from the organisms Cronobacter sakazakii and Clostridium botulinum.

Baldor Specialty Foods does not purchase any product from this vendor and is not affected by this recall.

Blount Fine Foods has recalled a limited amount of Panera Chicken Tortilla Soup in 16oz refrigerated retail cups. The recall was initiated for product that may be contaminated by extraneous materials, specifically thin grey flexible rubber.

Baldor does not sell the products affected by the recall.

The recall comes after a routine internal test on one sample tested positive for Salmonella.

Dole Diversified North America, Inc. is recalling a limited number of cases of Dole Fresh Blueberries packaged in a variety of clamshell sizes for potential Cyclospora contamination.

Prima Wawona has issued a recall of their bagged and bulk, or loose, peaches that they have supplied to retailers nationwide. The recall was initiated due to Salmonella Enteritidis cases across several states which have been linked to peaches packed or supplied by Prima Wawona or Wawona Packing Company.

Thomson International, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of their red, white, yellow, and sweet onions. The recall was initiated due to Salmonella cases across several states which have been linked to a supplier based in Bakersfield.

Schreiber Foods International, Inc. has informed that Huy Fong has issued a voluntary recall of their Sriracha Chili Sauce.

Catsmo LLC. has announced a voluntary recall of their Smoked Salmon. The contamination was discovered by FDA environmental routine testing of Listeria Monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with these products.

Laubscher Cheese Company LTD has announced a voluntary recall of their shredded cheese package as well as their LAKEWOOD label.

This is not a recall it is an consumer advisory from the CDC and FDA. 

At this time the CDC and FDA has named Ready Pac Salad bowls containing romaine as a possible cause of E. coli 0157 related illnesses. This is a current and ongoing investigation by the CDC and FDA.  FDA is tracing back the supply of the romaine lettuce in the salad and has identified possible farms in Salinas, California. Preliminary information indicates that romaine lettuce used in the product that tested positive was harvested in mid-October and is no longer within current expiration dates. With an abundance of caution, we have removed all Salinas grown romaine from inventory in all of our locations.

Baldor Specialty Foods maintains a rigorous food safety program and will continue to monitor this situation and keep you posted as needed.

Mann’s Packing has announced that they are recalling a series of vegetable products sold in the US and Canada. This voluntary recall is a response to a notification by the Food and Drug Administration and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency of a potential contamination with Listeria Monocytogenes. According to Mann’s Packing, to date, no illnesses have been reported. Baldor Specialty Foods purchases, distributes and processes a limited assortment of products from Mann’s Packing.
