About Gilbertie's

Gilbertie’s has operated in Fairfield County, CT for 100 years. All their greens are soil-grown in a blend that took four years to perfect--in order to create the best tasting and most nutritious organic microgreens, baby greens, edible flowers, and potted herbs. Gilbertie’s Organics microgreens offer up to 70x more nutrition than full-grown greens. Plus, they have amazing flavor, crunch, and versatility. The greens are the perfect addition to salads, sandwiches, and so much more. Sal Gilbertie’s own recipes can be found in his book Cooking with Microgreens. He works the farm in Easton, CT to this day with his family and a great team of loyal employees.
