These slender zucchini flowers are very fresh with bright marigold coloring and no stem attached. Grown organically by the Lancaster Farm Fresh cooperative they reach us the same day they are picked. Zucchini blossom don't have a long shelf life so use promptly after receiving. Try gently separating the leaves to fill with shredded cheese, then battering and deep frying. The elongated shape of these local squash blossoms makes them ideal for baking into the top of a frittata or quiche.
