Wonderfully fresh and delivered to us the day after picking, Norwich Meadow's green pole beans and sweet and earthy tasting. They're a flattish Romano-style bean that can grow 8-12 inches long. Trim off the tips and cook whole. Pole beans are best cooked quickly to retain their pleasant crunch. They are also delicious cooked into soups and ragouts but be careful not to overcook lest they become mushy and bland.
